Millfarm Residents Meeting

One hundred residents attended an Extraordinary General Meeting on May 30th, to protest against the rezoning of the Dunboyne Green Belt as proposed by the Meath County Council Development Plan.

There was unanimous opposition to the proposal. Residents were shocked by the attitude and disregard of their local County Councillors who are responsible for proposing the destruction of our green belt and so destroying the unique village environment of Dunboyne never to be retrieved. They made many good suggestions to fight a campaign to stop this disastrous planning mistake and volunteered their help.

There was general approval that residents would individually write to Meath County Council, and our local TDs and County Councillors.

Millfarm Residents Association will work with the Dunboyne Combined Residents Association to protect the Dunboyne Green Belt.
